Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about TerenGO.

Download the TerenGO app from the App Store or Google Play, tap "Sign Up," and follow the onboarding steps. You'll set up your profile, add your sports and skill levels, and set your location to start finding activities near you.

Go to Profile → Edit Profile → scroll to the bottom and tap "Delete Account." This will permanently delete your account and all associated data within 30 days. This action cannot be undone. If you need help, email us at [email protected].

On the login screen, tap "Forgot Password" and enter your email address. You'll receive a reset link within a few minutes. Check your spam folder if you don't see it.

Tap the "+" button on the Activities screen and fill in the details — sport, title, date, time, location, skill level, and group size. You can also attach a GPX route file if you have one. Once created, your activity is visible to nearby users on the map and in Discover.

Yes. Go to your Profile → Hosted Activities, tap the activity, and select "Cancel Activity." All participants will be notified via push notification automatically. Cancelled activities appear in your profile history.

You'll receive a push notification immediately when the host cancels. The activity will appear under "Cancelled" in your Activities tab. You can dismiss it from your list once you've seen it.

TerenGO surfaces activities and users based on your sport preferences, skill level, and location. Activities that match your sports and are within your selected distance range appear first. You can also use filters in Discover to narrow by sport, skill level, and date.

The Reliability Score reflects how consistently you show up to activities you've joined. It's calculated based on your attendance history. A high score signals to other users that you're dependable — it appears on your profile and activity cards.

Visit the user's profile and tap the three-dot menu in the top right. You can choose to block them (they won't be able to see your profile or message you) or report them to our team for review. We take safety seriously and review all reports promptly.

Your exact location is never shared. TerenGO only shows your general area (city or neighborhood level) on your profile. Activity locations are set by the host and are the meeting point for that activity, not your personal address.

Verified Athlete accounts are for dedicated athletes who want more visibility and hosting power on TerenGO. Benefits include a verified badge, unlimited activity hosting, recurring activity scheduling, waitlist management, and priority placement in Discover results. Athlete accounts are coming soon — join the waitlist to be first to know.

Athlete verification is coming in a future update. You'll be able to apply directly from your Profile settings. We'll ask for basic information about your athletic background — no extensive verification needed to start. Email [email protected] if you want early access.
